Draft and schedule
Create posts for your connected accounts, set a time, reschedule, or cancel a target.
Meta Muse can't schedule posts to Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn by itself, and no scheduler is in its connector directory yet. Add Postqued as a custom connector and Muse can draft, schedule and send posts for approval on the networks you connect in Postqued.
Not today. Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. It launched in the US on 8 September 2026 on iOS, Android, the web at muse.ai and WhatsApp, and added a Mac app on 18 September.
Meta's Muse documentation does not describe publishing or scheduling posts. Muse's connector directory has Facebook, Instagram and Threads, but no TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest or Bluesky, and no social media scheduler as of late September 2026.
For services outside the directory, Meta supports custom connectors. You ask Muse to build one for a service that has an API, and it stores the credentials for you. Meta does not review custom connectors.
Postqued is a social media scheduler for creators, small teams and agencies, from $9 a month. It has a remote MCP server with 62 tools, so Muse can use it as a custom connector.
There is no settings form for custom connectors. You ask Muse in a chat, give it the Postqued MCP URL, and approve access. Postqued accepts both sign-in methods Muse uses: OAuth and an API key.
Muse writes its own client for each custom connector, so the conversation can vary. If the OAuth sign-in stalls, use an API key instead.
Meta Help Centre: Muse connectorsMuse works through the same tools as the Postqued app, inside the workspace you choose. These requests map to Postqued's MCP tools for publishing, approvals and analytics.
None is in Muse's directory yet. These tools publish setup instructions for adding them as a custom connector.
| Tool | How Muse connects | Networks | Entry price | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Postqued | Custom connector to a remote MCP server, with OAuth or an API key | TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon and X | $9/mo | Client approval before scheduling. Publishing is a dry run unless the request says otherwise. |
| Postiz | Custom connector to a remote MCP server, with OAuth | 30+, including Reddit, Discord and Telegram | $29/mo | Its guide suggests saving drafts in Postiz and scheduling the ones you approve. |
| Blotato | Custom connector to an MCP server, with an API key | Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok on its Muse page | Starter plan; price not on its Muse page | Creating an API key during the free trial ends the trial. |
| Pallyy | Custom connector to an MCP server, with an API key | Not listed on its Muse page | Not listed on its Muse page | Media has to come from a public URL or the Pallyy library. |
| Meta Business Suite | Not a Muse connector | Facebook and Instagram | Free | Meta's own scheduler. Use it directly, without Muse. |
Choose Postqued when you want Muse to send posts to a client for approval and pay one flat price. Choose Postiz when you need networks Postqued doesn't cover, such as Reddit or Discord. Choose Meta Business Suite when you only post to Facebook and Instagram and don't need Muse.
Competitor details are taken from each vendor's own Muse page, checked 1 October 2026.
The agent works inside your Postqued workspace. It sees the accounts you connected and nothing else.
Create posts for your connected accounts, set a time, reschedule, or cancel a target.
Create an approval post, revise it, and wait for a reviewer before anything is scheduled.
Upload images and video, or reuse assets that are already in your content library.
Pull post metrics for a connected account so the next draft starts from what worked.
List new comments and reply, hide, or like them on the networks that support it.
Switch between client workspaces and see who can review in each one.
An agent that can post to your accounts needs limits. Postqued sets them on the server, so they hold no matter which assistant is connected.
Connect your social accounts in Postqued, add the MCP URL, and ask for a draft. Nothing goes live until you say so.
Not by itself. Muse has no built-in connector for those networks. With Postqued added as a custom connector, Muse can draft and schedule posts for TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and the other networks connected in your Postqued workspace.
Yes. The scheduled post is stored in Postqued and publishes from there at the time you set. You can see, edit or cancel it in the Postqued calendar.
No. Ask Muse to save the connector once it works. Muse keeps it as a reusable skill for later chats.
Meta offers Muse on iOS and Android, on the web at muse.ai, in WhatsApp, and in a Mac app. It launched in the US first.
No. Postqued is not listed in Meta's connector directory. You add it yourself as a custom connector with the public MCP URL https://mcp.postqued.com/mcp, which is the route Meta documents for services outside its directory.
Usually not. Postqued's MCP server supports OAuth with automatic client registration, so the assistant sends you to a Postqued sign-in and consent page. API keys are still available for clients that only accept a bearer token.
MCP and API access are included on every paid Postqued plan, starting at $9 per month. The 7-day trial needs a card.
Only if you tell it to. The publish tool runs as a dry run unless the request says otherwise, and posts that need approval wait for a reviewer in Postqued unless the assistant acts as a team admin. Sign in through OAuth as an editor for a hard gate. Meta may also ask you to confirm tool calls on its side.
